Together with his wife Kassie and family J.R. founded Grace Point Ministries in Portland, Oregon in 2010. For 13 years, they were at the forefront of the Portland community, fostering spiritual growth and outreach. His ministry is characterized by a deep passion for youth ministry, community outreach, personal evangelism, and supporting individuals in drug and alcohol recovery centers.
J.R. earned a BA in Bible and Theology from Christian Life College, which laid the academic foundation for his impactful ministry. His dedication to education and personal growth has been instrumental in his ability to lead and inspire others.
Married to Kassie for 22 years, J.R. cherishes his family life. Together, they have two sons, Javin and Jericho, who share their father's love for music and sports. In his leisure time, J.R. enjoys playing golf, pickleball, and drums, and takes great joy in watching his sons excel in their musical and athletic endeavors.
